Located on a beautiful plateau, in the Swiss Alps, the ski resort of Anzere has a Mediterranean microclimate and is very popular among the snow sport fans. Anzère (Glacier-Alpes Vaudoises) is a traditional village for the architectural style of Switzerland, and is situated near Crans - one of the sunniest areas in Switzerland. The Swiss village of Anzere is also attracting many climbers and is a preferred for family vacations and lake-side holidays. In the village’s surroundings one can still find a number of "mayens", a basic Alpine dwellings built of stone and wood. The weekly wine parties, on which mulled wine is offered to all visitors of the resort is a great opportunity for new friendships with the locals as well as with other tourists. The village offers different types of accommodation and we particularly recommend Hotel Restaurant Eden and Hotel Des Masques.

Anzere Skiing Holidays

The Valais winter resort of Anzère is part of the Glacier-Alpes Vaudoises skiing region and provides with direct access to forty kilometers of ski pistes, including fifteen individual runs, accessed by thirteen ski lifts. In addition to the snow sports in the resort of Anzère itself a lift pass will allow one to ride and in the other Glacier-Alpes Vaudoises ski villages of Château d'Oex, Gstaad, Les Diablerets, Leysin, etc. The Swiss resort of Anzère has 84 snow cannons which serve with artificial cover ten kilometers of ski pistes. There are thirteen lifts with capacity 9250 persons per hour. The resort is especially suitable for intermediate skiers and boarders.
