Olten is a small town at the Aare River, in the Swiss canton of Solothurn. The village of Olten has a beautiful old part with a wooden bridge, nice museums, a rich cultural life which are well worth a visit. Tourists are attracted to Olten and for some relaxing hiking tours in the forests encircling the town. A walk through the old part, starting at the Klosterplatz is a great experience no visitor of the town should be missing. The Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of Nature and the Historical Museum are also interesting and should not be missed if coming to Olten.
